[Well. That trial sure was A Thing. So was the "retirement", and it's obvious why some people would be pretty upset after all of that. Two people are dead, after all, and it's doubtful they'll be the last ones to get killed or executed.

When he spots Elizabeth much later during the evening, maybe on her way to her room or elsewhere, he's going to flag her down. N...ot.......... because he wants to check up on her or anything, but because he can. And she got all sentimental on him during the trial. She's not allowed to live that down?????]
